Blingy belt

I love belts.  They hold my pants up.  Plus they're fun.  I have all sorts of different widths, colors, textures, and lengths (for waist, low waist, hip).  But today's belt is a bit of an experiment for me.  It's shiny and has a sparkly buckle!  I wasn't sure how I felt about that when I saw it at the store, but the belt fit me perfectly, and it's reversible to black patent which I've really wanted, so I decided to go for it.  I think it works for this outfit, but you can see that it could be a bit much if worn wrong.  I'm still not sure if the black side is going to work - but that's an experiment for another day.

  1. I like those pants. Which is not the point of this post, but I like them. Where did you get the top?

My day has stunk so far. My mother in law showed up and told me I wasn't allowed to make what I wanted to make for dinner because she had bought stuff for me to make pot roast, which I don't even like. I told her I don't like it, but the kids do, so I guess its ok. Then I said she could make it for dinner tonight, because she is going to be at my house all day today anyway, and she looked confused, like why would she cook? Which is weird because she normally does.

Then I tried to get dressed. I put on my new grey slacks. Then I gave up. I just didn't have energy in me today to try. So I don't really like how I look. Blerg. I'm in a bad mood.

Is this a public blog? I hope not. Let me know :)

  3. I like these pants too! They fit me perfectly. They're from Express. Express Columnist fit crops. (I want to replace some of my other cropped pants with Express Columnist fit ones now!) I bet Express Editor fit would work well for you (a little more curvy). The top is Calvin Klein, but I got it so long ago I can't remember where... Maybe the Calvin Klein outlet? Hmm... I'll start adding the parenthetical on what everything is.

I think this is a public blog... I haven't put any specific security on it. On the other hand, I doubt anyone other than you and Cathy will look at it.
